Sited on 3.6 acres at the north end of Elmhurst’s Wilder Park, this development supports the goal of creating a library in the park, with a civic presence on Prospect Avenue. In addition to print and digital collections, and reading rooms, the two story, 90,000 sf facility houses public meeting rooms and a computer laboratory.

Large windows along the south elevation draw daylight into the building and provide views of beautifully landscaped Wilder Park. The building was designed in a contemporary style utilizing contextual materials, including limestone, that integrate it with buildings elsewhere in the park and neighborhood.
