The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus is part of the McDonald’s world headquarters that also includes a training center and a corporate office building. The lodge has 225 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, a lounge with a rustic stone fireplace, two ballrooms, 44 meeting rooms, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. In the 1990’s, Lohan Associates renovated one of the suites into a Mies van der Rohe themed suite, with furniture and finishes designed and used by Mies.

The building’s U shaped plan wraps around a rare, 200 year old Ohio buckeye tree that stands in the forecourt. The building is designed in a contemporary Prairie style with extensive areas of glass complemented by the use of brick and local field stone inside and out.
