This seven story 220,000 sf speculative office building was commissioned by Calamos Real Estate. Located in suburban Chicago, the building is the first of several to be built as part of a master plan development called CityGate Centre that will include additional office as well as hotel, retail, performing arts, and housing.

Building amenities include a café, conference center, and adjacent structured parking. A raised floor system for data, tempered air, and utility services distribution is one of many energy saving features qualifying the project for LEED Silver certification.

The exterior of the steel structure is defined by a glass curtain wall with an artistic composition of “dancing” mullions. Additionally, an acutely angled façade on the north face gives the building an unmistakable identity. Taken together, these design features present a distinctive image for visitors entering the CityGate Centre development as well as for passersby on the heavily travelled adjacent Tollway.
