The pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Company’s corporate headquarters in Indianapolis is a collection of varied buildings acquired and built over many years. Lohan Associates was commissioned to a new lobby and dining pavilion that would add needed space and tie the disparate buildings together.

In order to provide intimacy, the dining room is divided into six discrete areas separated by wooden trellises and landscaping; the central dining area is a raised platform underneath a large skylight. The new lobby and concourse are formal, featuring satinwood paneling, high coffered ceilings, and patterned marble floors. A custom designed chandelier and reception desk mark the entry.
