This seafood restaurant, part of a local signature restaurant group, is located in a pavilion adjacent to the Calamos Headquarters building in the Citygate Centre development 30 miles west of Chicago. The rounded shape of the pavilion provides sweeping views of an adjacent ten acre lake and prairie landscape.

The design concept was inspired by a businessman’s suit; Navy blues and browns were offset by crisp whites. Touches of polished stainless steel are reminiscent of cufflinks. Ship portholes are clustered near the entrance to evoke the nautical theme. The décor incorporates two commissioned works of art, a mural of the Chicago lakefront by Constance Trojnar and a serpentine glass wall made by Meltdown Glass Art & Design.
