This proposal for a 285,000 sf research laboratory included Human and Pharmaceutical research, Bio-informatics and Nanotechnology research, Agricultural research, and Environmental research. Conference rooms are scattered within each department with a large lecture hall located on the lowest level. Break out and meeting areas are situated along the edges of a central atrium.

The building responds to its harsh climate with the use of solar shading tensile structures, solar window screens, and vertically curved terra cotta tile walls that deflect the sunlight.
