This proposal is for a 104 story, 1,500,000 sf residential tower which also incorporates a 700 seat recital hall for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The building is sited directly behind Symphony Center. The first twelve floors, at 125 feet equal in height to the adjacent Orchestra Hall, are parking. This parking would serve the existing performance venues at Symphony Center as well as the proposed recital hall and the residences above. Located just above Orchestra Hall is the recital hall, designed with a glass backdrop for views to Grant Park and Lake Michigan. Above the recital hall are eighty floors of condominiums with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.
